Position Overview: As a Customs Broker (Comisionar Vamal) at Eastship’s Constanta Office, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring smooth customs clearance processes. Your responsibilities will include handling import and export documentation, liaising with customs authorities, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

Customs Clearance:

• Prepare and submit customs declarations for import and export shipments.
• Coordinate with customs authorities to ensure timely clearance.
• Verify tariff codes, duties, and taxes.
• Handle customs documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Stay up-to-date with customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with import/export restrictions and licensing requirements.
• Advise internal teams on customs-related matters.

Client Support:

• Assist clients in understanding customs procedures and requirements.
• Provide guidance on duty rates, taxes, and trade agreements.
• Resolve customs-related issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Customs Broker (Comisionar Vamal).
• Proficient in Romanian and English for effective communication.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
