Candidate Profile
We are looking for a candidate with:
Educational Background: A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
Experience: 3-5 years in a similar accounting role.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and operational processes.
Skills:
  • Organizational skills and high accuracy in work.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Work Style: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Recording Entries: Manage the accurate recording of entries such as accruals, salaries, taxes, fixed assets (FAR), and expense advances.
  • Expense Reporting: Review and validate expense reports to ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Financial Accuracy: Perform monthly checks to maintain the accuracy of accounting records.
  • Cash and Bank Oversight: Monitor, validate, and reconcile cash registers and bank statements.
  • Account Inventories: Conduct monthly inventories of accounts to ensure financial clarity.
  • Reporting & Closures: Assist the Chief Accountant with monthly closings and provide detailed financial breakdowns.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and submit monthly declarations to ANAF, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
  • Reconciliation: Oversee the reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Carry out additional accounting-related tasks as assigned by management.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on changes in legal requirements and accounting best practices to maintain compliance and improve processes.
