Compliance Officer

As a Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our iGaming company operates in full compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing expert guidance on regulatory matters.

Responsibilities:
* Regulatory Interpretation: Stay up-to-date with evolving regulatory landscapes in various jurisdictions where we operate( i.e: United Kingdom, Greece, ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︃​︁︃︂Italy, Spain, Sweden, Romania, etc). Interpret and apply regulations to ensure compliance across all aspects of our business.
* Compliance Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs, including KYC (Know Your Customer), DD (Due Diligence), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and CTF (Counter-Terrorism Financing) procedures.
* Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
* Compliance Monitoring: Implement and oversee compliance monitoring activities, including audits, reviews, and inspections.
* Training and Education: Provide training and education to staff on compliance matters, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
* Incident Management: Manage and investigate compliance incidents, taking appropriate corrective actions.
* Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, legal counsel, and business units, to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in law, finance, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a compliance role within the iGaming industry.
* Strong understanding of KYC, DD, AML, and CTF regulations.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Minimum experience on a similar role: 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in AML or compliance.
* Experience with compliance software and tools.
* Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
