Job Description:
As a Civil Construction Engineer for Photovoltaic Parks, you will be responsible for overseeing all civil engineering activities related to the development of photovoltaic solar parks. This includes managing the construction of foundations, access roads, drainage systems and other civil works necessary for the successful installation and operation of the photovoltaic park.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the civil engineering construction of photovoltaic park projects, including earthworks, foundations, drainage systems, and access roads.
- Collaborate with EPC project managers, electrical engineers, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of civil works with the overall design and functionality of the photovoltaic park.
- Monitor the execution of construction plans, schedules and budgets, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee procurement, site mobilization and subcontractor management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local building codes, environmental standards and renewable energy industry best practices.
- Monitor construction progress, resolve any technical issues, and conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets required specifications.
- Propose constructive solutions to resolve identified non-conformities.
- Prepare regular reports on project status, cost and timelines for stakeholders.
- Archive created documents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in the construction of large-scale infrastructure projects;
- Familiarity with the development of wind and photovoltaic projects;
- Expertise in civil design software such as AutoCAD or similar tools;
- Strong knowledge of construction management costs, site safety and environmental compliance;
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines and teams effectively;
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment;
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires occasional travel to project sites.
- Work may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction environments.
Type of contract: indefinite period (3-month probationary period).
