Purpose/goal of the position:
• Ensuring the operational and strategic procurement of the allocated products and services
• Ensuring the flow of information to and from sales and production
• One of main challenges of the position is finding local suppliers for the Romanian plant
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
• Search for new economical solutions for products in collaboration with other departments
• Further development of the existing supplier network
• Participation in project teams
• Procurement of direct and indirect materials from assigned suppliers including processing inquiries, obtaining offers, clarifying delivery dates, checking, filing order confirmations, etc.
• Ensuring availability of assigned items
• Reception and representation during visits to suppliers, including visits to suppliers
• Creating supplier evaluations
• Maintaining data in ERP and Office
