Business Development Specialist

As a Business Development Specialist in Chemicals field, you will play a key role in driving the client organization's growth by identifying new clients, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding our network.

About the client:
Chemicals supplier supplying industrial and agricultural companies globally. The company benefits from an international presence. With offices in China and Belgium.

Responsibilities:

• Research potential clients, partners, and market trends, generate and qualify leads through calls, emails, and networking
• Schedule and participate in client meetings to understand needs
• Collaborate with sales and internal teams to align on client needs
• Prepare client proposals
• Establish strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate client records and create basic reports on leads, sales activities, and performance

What we are looking for:

• Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken
• +2 years experience in sales in chemical industry
• Excellent networking skills, able to build and grow relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Able to pitch products or services effectively, handle objections and close deals
• Able to analyze competitors and develop strategies to gain market share.
• Able to take ownership of tasks and deliver results within established timelines
• French skills are nice to have.
