Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bucharest, Romania for a Back Office Engineer at Astronergy ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︅​︀Solar. The Back Office Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support, communication with authorities and document management of new projects.

Tasks
- Participates in technical field visits;
- Identifies new locations developing new photovoltaic projects;
- Ensures communication with subcontractors and romanian authorities;
- Monitors the implementation of projects under construction;
- Liaises with energy distributors, prepares requests for technical approvals and connections when a new project starts
- Is responsible with obtaining licenses and authorizations, following the status of submitted projects
- Deals with the transmission of forecast informations
- Is responsible for relations with energy authorities: TRANSELECTRICA, Distribution System Operators, ANRE, OMEPA, OPCOM
