Accountant

The one, who has at least 3 years of experience as an accountant in a company with strong control environment
Relevant bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related
The one, who has medium knowledge in local tax and accounting legislation
Good knowledge of English
Good computer skills (MS office)
High sense of responsibility, motivation, initiative and positive atitudeExcellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities appropriately and the ability to work in a team

Performing and managing daily accounting and book keeping in accordance with Romanian legislation and Evolution group policies;
Process and review ︁︀​︈︈​︈︈​︁︈︂vendors’ invoices, bank statements, expense reports, advances, monthly accruals;
Bank payments processing;
Prepare breakdowns for a selected GL accounts, reconcile the bank statements, maintain the fixed assets subleger;
Reconcile accounts payables records with vendor statements, identifying and resolving discrepencies in a timely manner;
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve vendor disputes and ensure timely resolution of payment-related inquiries;
Provide support and guidance to other departaments on accounts payable procedures and best practices;
Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, check journal entries and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules;
Involved in monthly closing process with respect to guidelines, related controls and deadlines;
Assistance in audits by providing all necessary documents and information required by auditors;
Ensuring that transactions entered were done properly and accurately by selecting correct GL accounts, correct periods, departments and projects codes;
Ensuring that taxes and the VAT are properly reflected into the system and according to the legislation in place;Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline the accounts payable function.
