As an integral member of our finance team, the Accountant will report to Chief Accountant and will be responsible to manage financial processes, including invoices, expenses, payments, payroll, regulatory reporting, fixed assets, audits, inventory, and ad hoc reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Invoice Management
- Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of supplier invoices, from downloading e-invoices to recording, posting, and performing monthly reconciliations.
- Supplier Communication: Proactively liaise with suppliers to clarify any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
- Accuracy and Compliance: Accurately record and process expense reports in adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Payment Review: Conduct a thorough review of the weekly payment report, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments.
- Registration and Preparation: Accurately register and prepare payroll, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely payment to employees.
- Regulatory Compliance: Compile and prepare reports as required by the National Bank of Romania (BNR) and the National Institute of Statistics (INS), ensuring compliance with relevant federal and local regulations.
- Asset Oversight: Oversee the management of fixed assets and prepare monthly reconciliations in accordance with group requirements.
- Assisting the Chief Accountant: Support the Senior Accountant in internal audits, external audits, and tax reviews, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the audit processes.
- Documentation Maintenance: Prepare and maintain documentation related to inventory assessments, ensuring accurate tracking of assets.
- Insights Generation: Produce and analyze ad hoc reports as requested, providing valuable insights to support decision-making.
