Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Geodesy, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in topographic surveying, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in managing and supervising teams.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS systems, and laser scanners).
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and GIS tools.
- Familiarity with international standards for topographic and geodetic measurements.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and reporting skills in English.
Job Description
1. Coordination and Supervision:
· Lead and manage the topography team, including survey engineers and assistants.
· Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
2. Surveying and Measurements:
· Oversee all topographic surveys and measurements on-site to ensure accuracy.
· Verify and validate topographic data and reports generated by the team
3. Data Management:
· Ensure accurate documentation and archiving of topographic data and maps.
· Provide topographic support to other departments, including design and construction teams.
4. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
· Ensure all topographic activities comply with legal, safety, and quality standards.
· Review and approve topographic deliverables, such as as-built surveys and layout plans.
5. Technical Support:
· Act as the primary technical advisor for all topographic matters within the project.
· Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to the team as required.
6. Reporting:
· Prepare and present regular progress reports to the Tunnel Superintendent and other stakeholders.
· Communicate key findings, risks, and recommendations effectively.
