Qualifications
Fluent in German B2; written and spoken
Several years of professional experience in test management in an IT department
Well-founded knowledge in the field of test conception and strategy, test process improvement, bug management, test data management, test case creation and automation
Good knowledge of operational testing and relevant experience in the use of common test management tools
Knowledge of SDLC models (Scaled Agile, Waterfall) and ability to improve QA processes
Specialist certification, such as “ISTQB Certified Tester - Advanced Level” or “Foundation Level” and experience in the SAP environment is an advantage
Proactive and independent way of working, ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, confident demeanor as well as high social skills and strong solution orientation
Completed studies in the field of (business) informatics or similar subject area or comparable training with relevant professional experience
Job Description
The Test Manager within TÜV SÜD is responsible for leading and coordinating the testing activities of a software project or program. They oversee the testing process and ensure that all testing activities are completed on time, within budget, and with high quality. The Test Manager is the main point of contact for all testing-related matters and works closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the software meets the requirements and standards.
Tasks
Responsible for setting up the test organization and environments as part of IT projects in the automotive environment
Planning and control of all tests, including preparation of test strategies and concepts
Creation of test cases and test case chains as well as responsibility for the organization and coordination of all test resources
Responsible for selecting suitable test methods and tools as well as continuous optimization and further development
Setting up and controlling deviation management, including the associated documentation of interim and final results
