Team Leader Supply Planning (24 months), Cluj-Napoca
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced materials planning professional for a temporary leadership role overseeing supply planning operations at our distribution center. In this critical position, you will drive inventory optimization strategies, lead a team of dedicated supply planners, and maintain seamless distribution operations across our network. The role combines strategic planning with daily operational oversight to ensure product availability while optimizing working capital. You will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory strategies that balance customer service levels with cost efficiency, while fostering cross-functional collaboration with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining supply chain continuity and supporting our organization's commitment to operational excellence.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Lead and coordinate daily supply planning activities across multiple product categories
* Manage team of supply planners to ensure efficient distribution operations
* Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand
* Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and inventory management
* Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain supply chain efficiency
* Analyze and report on key performance metrics

* 5+ years of supply chain/materials planning experience
* 2+ years of team leadership experience
* Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
