This is a full-time hybrid role for a Supply Manager at Bimbo Romania (Vel Pitar). The Supply Manager will be responsible for demand planning, supply management, procurement, and inventory management tasks. This role is based in Bucharest, Romania, with the flexibility for some work from home.
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Supply Manager at Bimbo Romania (Vel Pitar). The Supply Manager will be responsible for demand planning, supply management, procurement, and inventory management tasks. This role is based in Bucharest, Romania, with the flexibility for some work from home.
- Provide strong leadership and ensure strong stakeholder alignment and supply continuity;
- Ensure the implementation of category strategy and sourcing outcomes are carried out in a best in class and consistent manner
- Drive proactive supplier management across the region and categories
- Develops the appropriate link and reporting mechanism with the Strategic Sourcing Team
- Drives the process for monitoring and escalating supplier performance issues;
- Works with the Strategic Sourcing Team to tailor category strategies to fit the business .
- Drives the regional standards and best practices so team can communicate approved sourcing strategies, key market factors, supplier capabilities, cost trends and forecasts to key stakeholders in the business ensuring support and commitment to the strategy.
- Supports sourcing team in implementation of the approved sourcing strategy within the business working closely with other cross-functional teams.
- Support product launches and discontinuities; (new product introductions, discontinuations, specification or performance expectations);
- Prepare monthly reports, data trackers and analyses;
- Manage invoice errors;
- Support in implementing procedures and workflows instructions;
