We are looking for a skilled and passionate Supplier Performance Engineer that will join our Appleton office in Gilau, Cluj. The focus will be coordinating performance management in the relationship with suppliers, managing the improvement needs of suppliers in collaboration with the Strategic Sourcing, Quality, Engineering, and Production departments, planning, developing, and implementing continuous improvement actions.



In this role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Monitoring and improving the performance of existing and new suppliers.
* Coordination of supplier performance improvement projects and maintaining collaborative relationships with suppliers, monitoring specific indicators to ensure the improvement of supplier performance.
* Collaborating with the Engineering and development departments to manage quality activities of acquisitions, negotiating with suppliers, and calculating costs for new developed products.
* Negotiating quality terms for purchased products and production conditions, ensuring that purchased products meet technical specifications.
* Identifying and validating suppliers capable of supplying products to Appleton.
* Providing operational support to Production, Logistics, and Planning teams to ensure timely supply of materials needed for production.
* Conducting quality system and production process audits at suppliers, actively participating in departmental meetings, bringing improvement suggestions to achieve company objectives.
* Identifying and managing all current actions related to supplier performance (non-conformity reports, 3D, 8D, rework costs, credit notes, replacement of non-conforming parts), reviewing drawing change requests from suppliers, evaluating cost impact, and coordinating with Engineering for implementing changes.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* A minimum of 2 two years of relevant experience in a similar role in quality/production environment
* English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Technical studies in a relevant field will be considered an advantage
* Experience using ERP Systems
* Excellent communication, organization and negotiation skills
