Job Description

As a Sr. Technical Program Manager, you will lead the launch of features and products for Amazon Privacy, designed to simplify privacy compliance for Amazon's development teams.

You will own the interaction with our stakeholders, you will be accountable to define the functional requirements, and will be actively involved in product technical designs. You will socialize the product across Amazon, drive adoption, and own the business reporting up to Amazon S-team.

You will partner with engineering teams to develop at scale solutions which will support high throughput , require continuous scaling. You will deal with a high degree of ambiguity, and propose innovative solutions at scale for problems which haven't been solved before.

You’ll join a team that is entrepreneurial, excited to work in a “green field”, wear many “hats”, and work in a highly collaborative environment that is more startup than big company.

Amazon SDO Privacy engineering operates in Austin – TX, US and Iasi, Bucharest – Romania. Our mission is to develop services which will enable every Amazon service operating with personal data to satisfy the privacy rights of Amazon customers. We are working backwards from the customers and world-wide privacy regulations, think long term, and propose solutions which will assure Amazon Privacy compliance. Our external customers are world-wide customers of Amazon Retail Website, Amazon B2B services (e.g. Seller central, App / Skill Developers), and Amazon Subsidiaries. Our internal customers are services within Amazon who operate with personal data, Legal Representatives, and Customer Service Agents.
