- Experience in engineering team management
- Experience in leading the definition and development of multi tier web services
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

Job Description
Manage a team building the future of automated compliance in the product space. Your work will directly impact Amazon's ability to serve customers and partners safely and efficiently across the globe.
We have a unique challenge to overcome: use ML and LLMs at the scale of Amazon. As a manager you will lead the team to build a scalable LLM infrastructure that can be used to process billions of documents and images each year, in a cost efficient way. To be successful you will need to be able to keep the long-term objectives in mind while guiding the team through short-term obstacles.
You drive to develop the careers of your developers, improve our development processes, remove bottlenecks and friction, and allow the team to move at a fast pace. You will need to collaborate closely with business leads, product owners, technical program managers and partner teams. You are comfortable with a degree of ambiguity and are always open to identifying alternative paths.
Your Mission:
• Build AI-powered systems to ensure safety and compliance across Amazon's vast retail network

Key job responsibilities
1) Responsible for the over-all systems development life cycle management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments; Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment.
2) Management of departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team.
3) Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach.
4) Collaborating closely with senior leaders across the Lifecycle Engagement Organization to influence and drive broader product and technical strategy alignment.
5) Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.

Compliance Shared Services (CoSS) vision is to provide best-in-class automation of controls for internal compliance and business programs (our primary customers) to lower costs in the Amazon flywheel on behalf of our end customers: buyers and selling partners. We provide easy-to-use shared services with data privacy, security and tenant isolation across all stages, while continuously raising industry standards for automation performance and cost efficiency, giving our program customers confidence that they have access to optimal cost-efficient automation options to better serve their end customers.

Our external customers are world-wide customers of Amazon Retail Website, Amazon B2B services (e.g. Seller central, App / Skill Developers), and Amazon Subsidiaries.
