What You Need to Succeed in This Role:
A university degree in Economics/Accounting;
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting;
Intermediate English proficiency (at least B1); French knowledge is an advantage;
Excellent analytical skills;
SAP knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and submitting monthly and annual tax declarations;
Calculating and paying fiscal obligations (VAT, income tax, social contributions) in compliance with applicable tax laws;
Recording and verifying financial transactions in general accounting, following accounting principles and Romanian regulations;
Verifying and reconciling accounting accounts (income, expenses, assets, and liabilities);
Performing intercompany invoicing in accordance with established internal processes;
Preparing financial statements, including the balance sheet, profit and loss account, and other periodic financial reports;
Managing relationships with tax authorities (ANAF) and clarifying inspections or information requests.
