Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete purchase orders before acquiring goods and services.
- Incorporate all orders into the ERP system.
- Obtain necessary ERP approvals.
- Classify items and get supplier recommendations for substitutes.
- Place, monitor, and expedite orders with suppliers.
- Reconcile shipping invoices and ensure accurate delivery of orders.
- Refuse damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items, troubleshoot delivery issues, and oversee returns.
- Prepare import documentation (if applicable).
- Receive and process deliveries, organizing staff collection as needed.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
