Project Coordinator

• Fluent in written and spoken English;
• Analytical mind set and able to provide clear and concise reporting at the required levels;
• Understanding of relevant Service Delivery disciplines and frameworks;
• Must be highly organised and able to track and plan short and medium term objectives;
• A technical & service technical background in order to identify opportunities or potential problems – addressing them effectively and efficiently;
• Passionate and enthusiastic about excellence and attention to detail;
• This role will involve co-ordination and communication with various skilled groups and individuals within SCC, therefore the role requires organisational, collaboration and communication skills;
• Ability to respond positively and calmly to shifting priorities, demands and timelines.

• Foundation ITIL experience;
• Understanding of a distributed break-fix / managed service delivery environment.

• Process Acceptance into Service Requests (AIS) ensuring submission governance is being followed by the Project Delivery and Transition Management Teams;
• Track and manage all AIS activities during Service Integration;
• Provide regular management reporting of AIS Requests, associated tasks and remediation items to DCS and key stakeholders;
• Ensure operational risks, issues and acceptance are identified, documented and tracked during integration into live service. Raise stakeholder awareness exercising a logical and pragmatic approach in an attempt to enable and overcome any such obstacles. In situations where this is not possible, risks and consequence are to be clearly identified and raised to key stakeholders before crossing the line into acceptance;
• Highlight & report upon any perceived issues or gaps to key stakeholders that could delay the completion of an AIS submission;
• Co-Ordinate, facilitate Technical Design Board review sessions with the appropriate DCS personnel upon request;
• Co-Ordinate, facilitate New Business Review sessions with key stakeholders upon request;
• Assist with the co-ordination & completion of necessary AIS service documentation during the on-boarding of new customers and services;
• Familiarise themselves with existing DCS Services & processes, including tooling and resources consumed during delivery and operation;
• Identify gaps and issues with existing process & documentation in order to feed into continual improvement programs;
• Be part of the SCC Data Centre Service Integration Team to increase the quality, effectiveness & speed of Service Delivery.
• Follow any ad-hoc Project Co-ordination requests as directed by the Management Team not covered above
• Follow daily workload identified by DCS Service Integration lead
