Education and Experience
- Bachelor degree or above (Master's preferred), major in engineering, electrical or related;
- Above 5 years of Experience in automotive white body production line, battery assembly line or powertrain assembly line;
- In-depth understanding of PLC principles and programming languages, such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text, etc.
- Familiarity with major PLC brands and models, such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider Electric, etc.
- Familiarity with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) programming and configuration;
- Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve issues within PLC systems;
- Strong logical thinking and analytical skills to identify the root cause of problems in complex systems;
- Hands-on experience in PLC programming and commissioning, with the ability to complete projects independently;
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, project managers, and other engineers.
- This position contains longtime business trips all around the world.
Job Description
Job Summary
- The job responsibilities of a PLC Commissioning Engineer in BSBA project primarily revolve around the commission and optimization of automated systems to ensure stable and efficient operation;
- Write and test PLC programs to control robots and other automated equipment. This includes creating logic sequences, timers, counters, and other control functions;
- HMI Development: Design and program Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for operators to interact with the systems, providing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces;
- Conduct system commissioning, which involves testing and validating the PLC programs and control systems to ensure they operate as intended. This includes debugging and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the initial startup;
- Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC systems and automated equipment. This involves analyzing error codes, checking wiring and connections, and making necessary adjustments to the control programs;
- Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of the systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety;
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of PLC programs, control system designs, and maintenance procedures. This ensures that all information is available for future reference and troubleshooting;
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and production staff to ensure seamless integration of PLC systems with other parts of the project. This includes coordinating with mechanical and electrical engineers, as well as production managers;
- Provide training to operators and maintenance personnel on how to use and maintain the PLC systems and HMIs. This ensures that the staff is knowledgeable and capable of handling the equipment effectively;
