The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in luxury 5-star hotels;
  • Certification from a recognized culinary or bar training program is highly desirable;
  • Advanced knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, wine and spirits, and afternoon tea concepts;
  • Familiarity with operating Micros and P.O.S. systems;
  • A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English;
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and luxury service protocols;
  • Professional, engaging, and team-oriented personality with exceptional attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and maintain excellence in fast-paced environments.

Job Description

The role of Kitchen colleagues is to maintain all standards, policies & procedures relating to food and beverage mixing and service as laid out by the Corinthia Hotel, with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction, product quality and profitability.

Job Description:
  • Ensure the preparation, presentation, and service of food align with the highest luxury standards;
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations;
  • Collaborate with the team to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests;
  • Contribute to menu development, inventory management, and kitchen efficiency;
  • Execute precise cooking techniques while ensuring timely and flawless service;
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and innovate in the kitchen.
