Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a determined who have either of following skillsets:
- Attention to detail, problem-solving and time-management
- Knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel etc)
- Around 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, including GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Eagerness and flexibility to learn and change - same shared across our ambitious team;
- Good command of English is necessary to liaise with multinational clients - and taking most of international trainings at Hays.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Job Description
Thus we are looking for a Junior Accountant in the Finance department.
In this role you would be responsible for:
1. Daily/Weekly basis
- Issuing invoices for provided services: permanent recruitment and IT contracting
- Tracking and booking suppliers invoices by period and by cost centers
- Processing payments twice per week
- Booking of bank statements and reconciling the daily closing balance
- Collaborating with the external accounting company and performing various reconciliations
- Weekly updating the overdue invoices report and informing the consultants
- Tracking and archiving the new contracts
- KPI reporting
- General Ledger Journals booking received from the Financial Controller in month end: payroll, accruals, prepayments, corrections, reclassifications etc.
- Intercompany invoices booking and balance confirmations with the IC partners
- Intercompany loan statements booking and balance confirmations
- Expense reports booking
- Filling in statistics reports
- Filling in the fee report
- Credit checks in One Touch for new clients (or renewals)
- Participation in company’s trainings
- Other ad-hoc and routine tasks depending on current needs
