Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Outsourcing Project Manager to oversee and manage outsourcing initiatives for IT services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT outsourcing projects on time, within scope, and budget, while ensuring high-quality outcomes. This role requires excellent project management skills, strong stakeholder communication, and deep knowledge of IT outsourcing practices and vendor management.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management
Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones for IT outsourcing initiatives.
Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
Define the project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Vendor and Partner Management
Identify and evaluate potential IT outsourcing vendors.
Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and other agreements with outsourcing partners.
Manage relationships with vendors to ensure compliance with SLAs and performance standards.
Responsible for conducting in-depth market research and benchmarking outsourcing providers to ensure that the organization selects the best-fit vendors while optimizing costs and performance
Compare provider offerings, analyzing market trends, and delivering actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and outsourcing vendors.
Facilitate regular status meetings and provide detailed project updates to stakeholders.
Address and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
Decision making/advising
Budget and Resource Management
Monitor project budgets and control expenditures to ensure alignment with financial plans.
Allocate internal and external resources effectively for project execution.
Quality Assurance and Delivery
Ensure all outsourced IT services meet organizational requirements and industry standards.
Oversee testing, quality checks, and successful implementation of outsourced solutions.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure projects adhere to legal, regulatory, and security standards.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT outsourcing arrangements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in IT project management, specifically in outsourcing or vendor management.
Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and outsourcing trends.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification is highly desirable.
French language is required
