Ideal Candidate

Qualifications and experience required:
  • Graduated in technical / electrical profile (advantage)
  • Experience of 1 - 2 years in a similar position, preferably in an international company
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings of mechanical parts, operating procedures, write reports, communicate effectively and use manual inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, calipers and various go gauges/no-go
  • Knowledge of FMEA, QCP, Route causing 5Why analyses, Fish Bone; the 6S concept and other specific tools
  • English language, written and good conversational level, including use of specific technical terms
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
  • Knows and uses statistical and problem-solving tools efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to use and apply quality tools to identify / provide remedial actions for product defects, problem areas and other improvement opportunities
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of employees to identify and carry out improvement projects
  • Self-motivated, ability to work in a team environment and good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Knowledge and experience in "lean manufacturing" is an advantage

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and inspect goods in production
  • Use inspection tools to check parts against technical specifications and drawings
  • Document non-conformances in SAP and work with engineering for revisions
  • Analyze non-conformance data and support procurement with supplier issues
  • Initiate and manage non-conformance reports (NCR) and resolve supplier complaints
  • Perform first-item inspections and ensure non-compliant products are segregated
  • Maintain inspection documentation, update databases, and uphold workplace organization (6S)
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information
