- PC skills: WINDOWS, MICROSOFT OFFICE.

- Good Analytical skills, ability to work with figures, attention to details.
- Energy and ability to work well under pressure.
- English and Romanian language fluency.

This person:
- Manages all gate, inter and intra terminal transfer activities.
- Liaises with customers, truck drivers, container/CFS operators regarding terminal gate container transactions and transfer activities.
- Facilitates fast and efficient container handling/transfer services using the gate advanced computer system. Ensures fastest possible truck turnaround time and “IN and OUT” gate processing.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- Execute gate/rail operations in accordance with priorities set by the operations requirements, report any problem in areas of gate operations and implement the agreed changes to resolve the problems.
- Processes all gate/rail activities and administration ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
- Receives/releases Import/Export containers at the gate, with the assistance of the EMR Inspector and performs or ensures services including container weighing, container inspection and cleaning are performed.
- Makes sure to take records of all items entering and leaving the Terminals.
- Interacts with truck drivers to answer inquiries, convey information, and provides good customer service.
- Helps in the overall operations of the gate.
- Maintains constant contact with collaborators to ensure smooth activity on the railway line.
- Ensure safe working conditions are always kept at the gate.
- Assist superiors in compiling statistics on terminal movements and company performance.
- The key impact of this incumbent will be the maintenance of operational efficiencies in the terminal.
- Responsibility for the execution of day-to-day gate activities.
