Experience & knowledge on Import Documentation (bill of lading, shipment advice etc.)& Shipping Terms
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Good written skills towards all stakeholders
Strong command of the English
1-3 years experience in Customer Service.
Analytical by nature and speaks with data when proposing a solution
Build strong and lasting relationships with customers and provide second-to-none customer service.
Act and communicate proactively and keep customers informed of any issues or changes in the booking.
Capacity of taking quick decisions, great team player;
Customs regulations and customs regimes knowledge;

Job Description
Tasks and Responsibilities
Responsible for handling related ZIM LINE import customer service tasks
Import cargo manifest check before vessel arrival
Send pre-alert and inform schedule to customer as well as Co-ordinate with all departments
Take full responsibilities and end-to-end ownership of customer shipments and issues.
Ensure 100% of import tasks are attended and closed prior vessel arrival.
Ensure follow-up on IMPORT longstanding containers
Coordinate with booking office for short-shipped containers and provide update to customers.
Address root causes and seek continuous improvements - constantly look for ways to improve work processes.
Produce and control all required documents accurately and timely
Ensure recovery of ad-hoc expenses (for example stripping charge, shifting charge)
Coordinate and follow up long layover container at port, transhipment port and with customers.
Engage in constructive problem resolution and provide solutions
Attend daily email
Answer all phones and response to customer requirements.
