In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Reviews, drafts and negotiates agreements and transaction documents in compliance with applicable policies and legal and ethical standards, with minimal supervision by more senior Contract Services staff, including in:
+ Responding, within established guidelines, to customers’ RFP/RFQs, vendor qualification documents and contractual requests;
+ Drafting and negotiating with customers, appropriate contractual language to reflect the business interests and policies of the parties;
* Takes the Contracts Lead role on
+ Less complex international and multi-BU project contracts;
+ Less complex frame agreements (single WA);
* Takes the Contracts Lead role (including the Global Contracts Lead role on GSAP accounts) on more complex projects and frame agreements as experience develops;
* Interfaces with customers, members of the legal team and other Emerson stakeholders to bring deals to closure;
* Analyses business, financial, and legal risks;
* Researches information on existing agreements and contractual programs, assisting with analysis and compiling data for reports;

For This Role, You Will Need:
* 2-4 years of work experience in a contracts-related role
* Bachelor’s Degree in related field
* Completion of IACCM Contract and Commercial Management (CCM) Training Program to Practitioner Level strongly preferred
* Intermediate MS Office skills
* Excellent oral and written English language skills; other languages are an advantage
* Experienced negotiation skills
* Extensive knowledge of Contract law & principles
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Commercial provisions such as warranty, liquidated damages/penalties, payment & freight terms, documentary credits and bank guarantees/sureties
* Experience in a complex Matrix organization
* Additional language skills
