- Has a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Has at least 3-5 year experience in a similar role
- SAP knowledge
- Is experienced in team coordination and management
- Problem solving skills, initiative and business awareness
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (Romanian and English)
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work on multiple assignments
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Quick learner and opened to changes
- Has good command of MSOffice and planning tools
Job Description
As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of monthly trial balance: compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions;
- Coordination of monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts;
- Preparation of fiscal and other reporting to the state authorities;
- Preparation of financial statements and other reports that summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position;
- Development and implementation of various accounting procedures;
- Work with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits;
- Assistance with annual budgets
- Reporting, analysis and integrity of all financial information.
- Compliance with local and corporate policies, regulations and laws;
- Application of cost accounting methods to achieve accurate representation of cost center performance;
- Analysis of transactional processes and identification of areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved;
- Maintenance and monitoring of the fixed assets system;
- Support of the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities;
- Knowing the critical functions within the department and capable of mentoring and assisting employees within the department;
- Other duties assigned by the management.
