Business Analyst

Business Analyst, Cluj-Napoca

This position has a strong emphasis on turning data into insights and those insights into actions using Microsoft’s Power Platform – primarily Power BI and Fabric. These solutions will be utilized in day-to-day operations by accounting and finance professionals.
Candidates should have experience working with the Power BI or a similar technical platform and a willingness to learn how to implement those technologies within other solutions.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

•Creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and workflows using Power Platform – primarily using Power BI/Power Query/Fabric and Power Automate.
•Querying data from sources systems using SQL
•Working with GFS to identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
•Be part of a Center of Excellence that offers trainings, runs periodic meetings, and communicates best practices,
•Stays up to date on the latest updates to the Power Platform, as well as future roadmap features announcements and virtual conference information.
•Performs other duties as requested by the Senior Manager or Director of Intelligent Automation

For This Role, You Will Need:
* + 2 years of Experience in Analytics (Microsoft Power Platform stack (Primarily Power BI, Fabric, Power Query, Power Automate)
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 products and the ecosystem – particularly Excel
* Proficient in querying relational databases with SQL
* Ability to identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes using low code.
* Comfortable working in an energetic, high growth environment with a flexible and agile approach to operation requirements
* Project management skills and familiarity with project management tools
* Communicates effectively with users.
* Comfort with running large meetings and presenting in front of groups of various sizes.
* Advanced English Skills


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience with UX design and app UI creation is a plus.
• Microsoft Professional Program certification in one or more of the Power Platform or Data Analysis tracks is a plus.
• Experience developing and implementing APIs into the Power Platform is a plus.
• AI/Machine Learning experience is a plus.
•Any previous programming experience (C#, Python, JSON, PowerShell etc) is a plus.
