What can you expect to be doing?

  • Secure implementation of all policies, procedures and standards of Occupational safety and health and Fire safety in order to maintain safe work environment in all our stores. 
  • Following-up on introduction and periodic training for employees (work and fire safety, first aid, forklifts etc) and following-up of all questions from staff regarding Occupational safety and health
  • Creating together with Retail the informational materials regarding H&S rules/issues (informational campaigns, monthly newsletter, new training or videos etc)
  • Ensure the creation/development of procedures and safety rules and participation in the creation of internal procedures, regulations and instructions concerning health and safety and fire protection
  • Other reporting tasks (work accidents, analyzes etc)

Qualification requirements: 

Therefore we are searching for a result driven, proactive, competent and committed HR who can make the difference every day.

You can be the one if:

  • You have experience in HR between 1 - 3 years
  • You are very good in planning and implementing, as also in follow-up
  • You have the ability to communicate at all levels, which goes hand in hand with your positive, persistent, flexible and problem solving attitude, but still respecting all rules and legislation
  • You are problem solving person, being able to quickly predict future problems that may arise and come up with solutions to prevent them
  • You have a friendly and “customer first” oriented attitude
  • You have computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • You are fluent in English
  • Driving license category B is mandatory 
  • You are able to travel 15% of your time

 Represent an advantage if:

  • You have university studies, bachelor's degree in the technical, agricultural or forestry field or master of H&S
  • You have some knowledge about H&S area
  • You have experience in retail

Company Description

JYSK is an ambitious fast growing Danish Retail company with a solid financial background that values dedicated hard work. We have 140 stores in Romania and are planning to open many more in the coming years.
We are searching for a result driven, proactive, competent and committed HR with potential to develop within the business. 

You will be located in Bucharest and will be responsible, at country level, for all training regarding H&S and, together with the external services provider, for all tasks related to Occupational health and safety including activities of control, advisory, opinion, and participation in the daily work. 
You will also make training and practical follow up tasks in the stores and the administrative part of the role is to be kept to a minimum, though always fulfilling the legal requirements in the country.

You will report directly to Johanna Chivaran, HR Manager for Romania.
