Ideal Candidate

We are looking for energetic and responsible individuals for the position of Freight Handler at the airport in Frankfurt am Main. Employment under German conditions based on a permanent contract.

● Physical fitness and readiness to work in shifts, on holidays, and on weekends.

Job Description

Scope of Responsibilities
● Assembling and disassembling cargo units (Build Up and Break Down).
● Securing cargo units and internal cargo carriers.
● Receiving, storing, and checking cargo and placing them in designated locations.
● Sorting, counting, controlling, and timely preparing freight shipments.
● Monitoring inventory levels.
● Performing tasks according to guidelines and implementing changes in processes.
● Maintaining order and cleanliness.

What We Offer
● Hourly wage supplements: +25% for night shifts (22:00-6:00), +50% for working on Sundays, +125% for working on holidays, +150% for working on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
● A functional allowance of €258.38 gross per month.
● An allowance of €25 gross for each working Saturday.
● An attendance bonus of €7.50 for each day worked.
● Private pension contribution: the possibility of a 15% employer contribution.
● A 37.5-hour workweek with the possibility of overtime (paid additionally).
● A 4-week preparatory course in English near the airport.
● LUSI (Luftfracht-Sicherheits-und Informationssystem - Air Cargo Security and Information System) training on safety principles in air transportation, including cargo and passenger protection procedures.
● DGR (Dangerous Goods Regulations) training regarding the regulations and procedures related to the transport of dangerous goods in aviation.
● A full-time employment contract for an indefinite period with a German employer.
● A ticket from the employer for public transportation in the Frankfurt metropolitan area or the possibility to apply for a parking space at the airport.

Additional Information
● Accommodation provided in double rooms. The rent is €600 per month.
● The probation period lasts for 6 months.

Required Documents
● Documentation of the last 5 years of professional activity/education/unemployment – a break of up to 6 months is acceptable. This should be done by presenting documents such as: a certificate of contribution periods from the Social Insurance Institution, work certificates, contracts, educational certificates, documents from the employment office, etc.
● A statement of residence.
● Addresses of residence over the last 10 years.
● Identity card.
● Certificate of no criminal record.

● Monthly Salary: Approx. €2017 gross + allowances = approx. €2000-2400 net
