Ideal Candidate
- Degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a comparable qualification
- Completed training as an accountant or tax consultant (an advantage)
- Several years of professional experience in accounting and/or tax consulting
- Sound knowledge of national and international accounting standards
- Very good knowledge of Romanian tax law and accounting standards
- Confident handling of accounting software
- Analytical thinking and structured way of working
- Fluency in English and/or German and good knowledge of Romanian is an advantage
Job Description
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with national and international accounting standards (HGB, IFRS, etc.)
- Supervision and optimization of accounting processes and ensuring proper bookkeeping
- Providing tax advice to the company and ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations
- Preparation of tax returns and support with tax audits
- Analyzing and reporting key financial figures to the management
- Collaboration with external tax consultants and auditors
- Optimization of internal finance and accounting processes
