Candidatul Ideal

Minimum Education:
 BS in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent field experience
Minimum Experience:
 5-10 years experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer supporting sales of storage solutions or related technologies. Bonus: Experience around specific application demands such as databases, messaging systems, virtualization and deduplication, data protection, etc in a Data Center/Enterprise environment.
 Prefer 4-8 years experience as a storage or system administrator (NAS, SAN, or Direct Attach) with a strong technical design background.
 Some public speaking ability is desired. Presentation courses, seminars etc…
Technical Knowledge:
The skills listed below are highly desirable attributes
 In-depth understanding of IT storage and computing architectures, including experience in storage and storage infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and applications.
 Detailed knowledge of full product line and thorough competitive analysis and understanding of key competitor offerings. Gains qualification in one or more company products, technologies, or disciplines.
 Broad storage industry knowledge and understanding; including general issues of interoperability and awareness of the competitive landscape
 Expertise in administering and troubleshooting NAS and SAN storage systems; as well as fiber channel and Ethernet networks.
 Experience working with the various Hypervisors in the market.
 Experience working with server environments running Windows or Linux
 Hands-on networking experience and troubleshooting with Fibre Channel and Ethernet technologies.
 Familiarity with various methods of Data Migration, Data Protection and High Availability desired.
 Scripting capability using PowerShell, Python, Bash is highly desirable. Analytical / Interpersonal Skills:
 Must be a good listener, creative, intuitive, and have the ability to resolve problems in potentially stressful situations.
 Must be a confident and assertive professional, acting as an independent and adaptive team player.
 Must display effective management of time and resources.
 Must be an articulate, persuasive, and polished oral and written communicator, able to effectively discuss and negotiate around technical issues.
 Candidate will be self-motivated, customer-oriented, resourceful, and enthusiastic, showing an intense entrepreneurial mindset.
 Must be strongly motivated by challenging goals.
Travel: May include Regular travel within the assigned territory, some overnight; quarterly travel to designated location for training – US or Israel.

Deliver standard presentations to customers on Client’s technology and product offerings, developing and positioning technical solutions targeted at specific needs, acting as technical advisor to the customer.
 Produce written proposals and technical responses to RFIs and RFPs within a territory,
 Conduct hands-on demonstrations and knowledge transfer of the Client storage solution to client/channel partners.
 Develop client solutions and supporting documentation (Proposal, Design Documents, Site Survey, etc.)
 Provide direct management for client evaluations, conditional purchases and proof of concept activities for the Client platform.
 Identify and resolve issues related to clients within their local territory, escalating where necessary to obtain rapid resolution.
 Take primary responsibility for the completion of the Technical Sales Cycle, accomplishing technical wins.
 Cultivate peer client technical relationships at the staff and manager level throughout the engagement lifecycle, developing “trusted advisor” relationships with key stakeholders including system administrators, operations staff, technology selection committees, etc.
 Cultivate a body of reference customers to support Client activities (2-5 customer references expected).
 Develop and nurture a business and technical network to include Client internal stakeholders, customers, resellers distributors, SAs (Strategic Alliances), SIs (Systems Integrators)
 Provide customer and market input to Product Management, Engineering, Customer Service, and other groups within Client
 Maintain currency on major industry developments; be capable of handling customer inquiries on these matters
 Represent Client at storage-related user's group meetings, trade shows, and conferences

A Solutions Architect (SA) partners with an Account Executive (AE) to develop a client install base, and is responsible for technical management of client accounts to ensure the achievement of Client revenue and client satisfaction goals within a local territory.
The SA must drive the adoption of Client's products and solutions in client and partner environments, conveying the merits of Client's solution versus competitive alternatives.
