The Role You'll Play:

The position is assigned within the Retail Team and Retail Asset Management Team, meaning that the main responsibilities will regard focus on the growing operational assets. It offers a unique chance to explore the full potential of a project for years to come, by understanding each project and how it should adapt in the near and long future to succeed within a challenging and developing market. .

This is the first of such positions within the company, meaning the candidate must have the ability to lead and the motivation to become a team leader. As the income-generating assets are growing and expanding, the company expects to develop a larger team of architects within the Asset Management Team.

Job Description

  • Collaborate mainly with the Leasing Team, Asset Management Team and Leasing Architects Team, but also with other functions, such as construction and development, leasing and legal
  • Understand project’s objectives and follows them throughout implementation
  • Maintain an open and efficient line of communication and information exchange with third parties and involved functions
  • Coordinate with all involved parties to achieve established goals and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate on design projects regarding the transformation and improvement of existing assets, from simple partitions and furniture changes to building extensions and general refurbishment
  • Participate at concept, design and construction meetings
  • Brainstorm project ideas and explores alternative solutions
  • Keep a healthy communication line with all involved parties, from center and technical managers to asset directors and leasing colleagues
  • Develop required and requested research, information and layouts according to current planning and objectives
  • Maintain and updates project’s general and specific information
  • Understand general building codes, construction methods and phases

Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or similar technical background
  • Three to five years of experience in a medium-large design office or development company
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in retail & office is not mandatory, but preferable
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken)
