Transport Broker / Traffic Manager

Ideal candidate will have a commercial driven personallity, will be able to work in a faced paced environment and handle complex situations. He/she will be able to see various situation from multiple perspectives and find solutions to satisfy all stakeholders requirements in a profitable manner while keeping common sense.

Requirements
Candidate must live in Oltenia (Valcea, Olt, Dolj, Gorj)
English language medium level in understanding, speaking, commercial writing,
Computer literacy
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Commercial & negotiation skills
Attention to detail in documentation and scheduling
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Client Management:

Build and maintain relationships with shippers, freight forwarders, and other clients to cover ad hoc needs for our own fleet.
Understand fleet requirement and find solutions to meet these requirements
Ensure consistent communication and provide updates regarding shipment status to all stakeholders (clients, colleagues, drivers, etc)

Transport Brokerage:

Develop and maintain a network of reliable carriers on ad hoc bases.
Negotiate rates and terms with carriers and sell the jobs we cannot cover with own fleet.
Schedule and dispatch shipments to carriers while ensuring customer timeless and requirements are met.

Fleet Management

Ensure operational compliance of the fleet throughout Europe (ferry bookings, custom documents, fuelling stations, viniette, efficient routes, etc)

Logistics and Operations:

Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Resolve any transportation issues or delays promptly and professionally.
Ensure all the transport documents are provided to invoicing department for efficient reconciliation.

Sales and business development:

Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
Source new clients and carriers.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate records of shipments, contracts, and transactions.
Prepare reports on operational performance and financial outcomes.
