- 3+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, or other international accounting standards.
- Experience preparing financial statements and ensuring timely monthly closings.
- Familiarity with tax regulations, including VAT/GST implications for digital transactions.
- Strong understanding of Romanian accounting and tax rules, laws, and deadlines.
- Important: Applicants should be up to date with Romanian accounting and tax practices to ensure compliance with local requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure timely and accurate monthly closings.
- Maintain accurate financial records for transactions involving fiat currencies.
- Support the consolidation of global entity financials for corporate and group reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Prepare tax filings for virtual goods and services, including VAT/GST implications.
- Advise management on operational adjustments due to tax code revisions.
- Reconcile financial transactions and accounts.
- Monitor systems and procedures to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Support external audits by providing required documentation and insights.
- Streamline financial processes and adopt best practices in accounting.
- Collaborate with the team to implement automated reconciliation solutions.
- Partner with product, legal, and compliance teams to assess financial implications of company projects.
- Provide insights on pricing and revenue recognition.
