Project Procurement Specialist

You will study the market trends, identify the best suppliers for the company's needs, and negotiate pricing and contracts with those suppliers. You will also drive project costs and continue improvement of the internal processes, identifying any risks when sourcing and procuring goods, and building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and distributors.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be::
* Responsible for generating orders to suppliers based on the technical specifications received from the project engineer and responsible for the availability of project materials;
* They are ensuring that project-approved budgets are adhered to;
* Responsible for order confirmations and delivery notes, supervising delivery data & processing invoices;
* Keeps the project team advised of the status of all orders and provides accurate and on-time answers to all queries regarding the ongoing orders;
* Accurately communicate & collaborate with all teams and departments involved, local and remote;
* Actively participates in departmental meetings, and provides forecasting and reporting support;
* Sets shipment priorities depending on the delivery time of the orders/contracts; advises collaborators about the status of ongoing deliveries;
* Negotiating favorable prices and terms of purchase to increase best sourcing practices;
* Building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and distributors;
* Responsible for Trade Compliance activities related to acquisitions. Knows and respects the local and international commercial regulations of Emerson and respects Emerson's code of ethics;
* Monitors service quality, and adherence to PMO Project Procurement procedures and ensures the implementation of continuous improvement processes.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* Experience of sourcing, procurement and supply chain;
* A proven track record of delivering savings, reducing lead time & increasing the supplier on time percentage;
* Experience in establishing and managing pricing agreements with strategic suppliers;
* Good negotiation skills;
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills;
* Analytical mind-set, but also creativity to seek, encourage and find non-traditional approaches to sourcing;
* Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions;
* Knowledgeable about current market prices of materials, components and equipment to be purchased, and familiar with alternative options that can help reduce costs;
* Fluent English spoken and written communication skills;
