Production Manager

• Organize and plan the production and technical department, monitoring the production processes, adjusting schedules as needed and follow-up operational ︁︀​︂︃︃​︇︉​︆︄& technical issues in order to deliver the desired production.
  · Monitor production performance, follow-up on KPI’s, (production schedule, raw material consumption, scrap rates, HSE, productivity, on-time delivery, absenteeism, individual performance and bonuses).
  · Develop new projects within medical & aerospace
  · Develop production team
  · Supervise, develop and motivate a team, in order to build up the right competencies, skills and know-how with the focus on increased multi-functionally across the company.
  · Improve productivity and efficiency of the processes, propose and implement improvement actions and new procedures; implement continuous improvement initiatives in cooperation with plant manager.
  · Ensure compliance with safety rules, legislation and regulatory requirements in close collaboration with HSE and plant director.
  · Provide periodical reports (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly production reports) of both result and process indicators.
  · Provides guidance and direction in the development and maintenance of Standard Operation Procedures and work instructions.
  · Coordinates and communicates with plant scheduling function to ensure capacity utilization and understand equipment/tooling shortcomings in order to meet customer demands.
  · Participates in annual budget, capital and strategic planning, providing information on manufacturing related requirements and capabilities.
  · Adequate resource planning.
  · Communicates with suppliers and customers as needed and lead and coach investigation activities into customer complaints and implement countermeasures.
  Maintains overall responsibility for ensuring a safe, clean work environment. Works with appropriate support departments to maintain and improve the safety and material condition of the facility.
