Candidatul Ideal

The ideal candidate has a passion for interacting with people/expatriates, willing to learn and take on board new tasks, be a problem-solver and have an excellent command of English (French too will be considered a strong advantage). You should have good multitasking skills to manage multiple issues/pressing tasks and applications simultaneously, closely working with the other departments involved.
Transportation/customs/moving industry background is considered a strong advantage.

Descrierea jobului

- Handle daily shipments: checking documentation, complies with FIDI/customs regulations, orders receiving, handling all bookings, notifications to origins/destinations, supporting the operational department
- Prepare transport documents and bills, execute administrative formalities such as: process import/export document, proforma invoices etc.
- Create and complete the import/export files according to internal company procedure
- Track and check supplier's invoices
- Permanent contact with Clients/ Carriers to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor shipments statuses and update the Clients consequently up to the final delivery
- Maintain relationships with Clients / Carriers (transmission, monitoring and completion of orders)
- Communication with teams on site.
- Ensures office discipline and quality of origin/destination service
- Be the first escalation point for clients
- Maintaining local suppliers and explore new suppliers in new destinations
- Key user of our databases and ERP applications
- Controlling the data input in the databases programs
- Ensures a smooth transition of the bookings between sales and operations
- Checks new bookings on correctness and ensures the calculated budget will not be exceeded on each and every one.
- Ensure correctness of final calculations and margins
- Cost saving coordination and timely invoicing
- Register the insurance policies
- Maintain company's procedures
- Liaise between operations and bookkeeping
- Other tasks might be assigned
