Holcim, a global leader in the production of construction materials, is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our local partner Cement Plant located in Rezina, Moldova. If you have experience in engineering and are ready for a significant career opportunity, this is your chance!

Purpose/ Mission
Ensure maximum availability and reliability of mechanical and electrical equipment in the plant by implementing corrective and preventive interventions, complying with OH&S norms, and ensuring the efficient use of maintenance tools and resources at the lowest sustainable cost.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment (preferably with supervisory responsibilities) in production or maintenance;
• Knowledge of the cement production process;
• Familiarity with MAC (Maintenance Cement), HAC (Holcim Asset Code), and CbM (Computerized Preventive Maintenance Certification is a plus);
• Strategic mindset, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with business and financial acumen;
• Results-oriented, with a focus on execution, customer needs, and supporting change and innovation;
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, inspire, and develop the team;
• Adaptability and the ability to handle critical situations;
• Strong organizational, planning, and analytical thinking skills;
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel;
• Fluent in Romanian and English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities across all plant installations (daily, weekly, monthly);
• Coordinate the ︃​︁︂︈​︁︉︉​︆annual shutdown program;
• Manage spare parts and define equipment and component replacement strategy based on systematic risk assessment;
• Collaborate with the RMSO Maintenance team.
