Laboratory Process Engineer - Chemistry

• Studied Chemistry and worked as a Process Engineer;
• 2 to 5 years ︍︈︈︎︊︌︂︍​︂︆︄︅​︁︁︎︌​︈︂︇︍​︈︆︅️︊︄︈︌︊︎︂︎of seniority in a similar role;
• Experience in running a laboratory;
• Hands on attitude and adaptability to schedules from production;
• Autonomous, responsive, results and details oriented;
• Advance English skills; French is a plus;
• Ease to use the tools of the Office suite;
• Good capacity for synthesis and analysis;
• Good communication skills and easily work in team;

• Analyze create or modify internal procedures in accordance with the Customer specifications, or ︁︀​︂︃︃​︁︂︇​︁︂︈issue requests for any possible deviation;
• Provide technical support to production, particularly through operator training (processes, work procedures, audit preparation);
• Audit the processes to check if they are applied in accordance with the requirements (e.g. questionnaire, report, monitoring of possible actions);
• Participate to External Certifications Bodies and Client Audits and reinforce respect of their requirements in terms of special processes and conformity (Client audits and Nadcap audits);
• Support for production with your expertise during root cause investigation and to solve technical issues;
• Plan and manage validations of new REACH products/processes;
• Tight control of the special processes to keep them within requirements by monitoring: test methods, results obtained and determining possible areas for improvement to make them more robust;
• Participate in the qualification of new internal processes or processes transferred between different group subsidiaries;
• Analyze test specifications, prepare samples and carry out tests which are defined by Sonaca Engineering Center in order to verify the suitability of new products/processes to REACH requirements;

• Ensure the conformity of baths and demineralized water used for special processes (constituents, impurities, pH, conductivity); Take samples, analyze results and record reports;
• Verify process performance (attack speed, deposit weight, clogging effectiveness, corrosion tests, etc.), monitoring of possible corrective actions;
