Invoice to Cash Economist (Accounts Receivable)

For our client, the largest integrated energy company in South-Eastern Europe coming from the Oil&Gas Industry, we are looking for an Invoice to Cash Economist.

3-5 years of years of experience in Accounting/ Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable.
English language skills - at least B2/ upper intermediate level.
German Language skills is considered an advantage.
Good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office.
SAP knowledge is an advantage.
Good Finance & Accounting knowledge.
Solid execution skills proved by ability to adjust to new tasks & situations in an effective manner, showing flexibility in the way of thinking and acting.
Able to elaborate reports and analysis in order to support / optimize end to end processes.
Able to elaborate / update working instructions (process documentation).
Proven ability to adjust new tasks & situations in an effective manner, showing flexibility in the way of thinking and acting.
Ability to innovate, contributes to the identification of opportunities to improve work related activities.
Communication, negotiation and interaction skills.

Performing and ensuring that all process work is carried out according to internal procedures and regulations, accurately recorded and reported, ︁︀​︂︃︃​︈︁​︁︉︂in an effective and efficient manner.
Providing input for improving department activity, finding new solutions in accordance with the team objectives & business requirements.
Supporting the identification of potential risks in area of expertise and proposes solutions for risk mitigation.
Supporting the internal activities for regular maintenance of Accounts Receivable procedures, training materials and processes description.
Performing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities.
Ensuring compliance and internal controls with regards to finance&accounting processes (e.g. end-to-end process compliance for Accounts Receivable process).
Contributing to projects and initiatives for improving department activities.
Preparing accurate and within deadline the monthly reporting packages, provides support in audit requests.
Providing support for requests from internal stakeholders and internal&external customers.
Implementing measures to improve the standardization and optimization of Accounts Receivable processes within the Group.
