Proven experience working as a Chief Steward in a high-end restaurant or luxury hospitality environment, with a minimum of 3 years' experience preferred.
Strong background in sanitation, inventory, and team management.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of health, safety, and HACCP standards.
Strong leadership abilities and communication skills, along with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Commitment to sustainability and cost efficiency.
An understanding of maintenance and equipment management is also highly valuable for this role.
Good level of written and spoken English
Good computer literacy (MS Office, Outlook, any inventory and material control software)

The Chief Steward (or Back of House Manager) plays a crucial role in ensuring that all kitchen and service areas ︁︀︂︃︃︈︃︁︇︄are efficiently managed. oversees cleanliness, inventory, and maintenance in kitchen and service areas to ensure health and safety compliance. They lead the stewarding team, manage waste, and monitor equipment and supply costs to support efficient kitchen operations. This role is key in maintaining a high standard of hygiene and operational flow within the hotel’s back-of-house areas.
