Our client an Accounting firm, based with their office in Sibiu, is looking for a skilled and proactive Accountant to join their team.

- Professional qualification in Accounting and/or Finance.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and operational processes.
- Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Record various entries including accruals, salaries, taxes, fixed assets (FAR), and expense advances.
- Review and validate all ︁︀︂︃︃︈︃︁︃︀expense reports.
- Conduct monthly checks to ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
- Oversee and validate cash registers and bank statements.
- Ensure the accuracy of accounting records and perform monthly account inventories.
- Assist the Chief Accountant with monthly closings.
- Prepare detailed breakdowns for financial reports at the end of each month.
- Submit monthly declarations to ANAF.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by management, specific to the role.
- Stay updated on the latest legal requirements and accounting practices.
