Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in working with warehouse and transport procedures and policies
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good English
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Experience in managing a budget and P&L.
  • Minimum 3 years working places as a manager in warehouse and transport department.
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflicts
  • Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills
  • Familiar with bookkeeping, inventory control practices and logistics

Job Description

  • Monitors and coordinates the results at cross dock finished product level and materials and equipment warehouse level
  • Monitors profitability indicators, KPI and coordinates the team at local level
  • Provides resources and supports the implementation of national distribution standards
  • Ensures close cooperation and alignment with supporting departments to organize activities: drivers, helpers, forklift operators and other warehouse operational staff
  • Supports continuous improvement initiatives and streamlining of activitie

  • Leads/participates in investigations regarding deviations from applicable rules and egislation
  • Represents and acts as a key/operational contact for audits or inspections organized internally or externally ( clients or authorities
  • Leads and coordinates the department with the aim of achieving optimal profitability
  • Ensures the implementation of GXO requirements, standards, procedures
  • Updates and submits monthly reports
  • Negotiates transportation costs and signs contracts with clients and subcontractors
  • Ensures communication with the client at local level.
