• Degree in a relevant technical field (Automation, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering).
• Knowledge of automated systems, including conveyor belts, labeling systems, and other warehouse technologies.
• Familiarity with technical documentation, mechanical and electrical diagrams, and maintenance manuals.
• Conversational English is required to communicate effectively with teams and follow technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with safety procedures.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to manage uncertainty.
• Availability for a 3-shift schedule.
Job Description
• Daily and Weekly Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and maintenance tasks on automated systems, including the Savoy machine (e.g., vacuuming, checking suction cups, blowing out filters, etc.).
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions (e.g., conveyor belts, sensors, switches, etc.) to ensure minimal downtime.
• Monitoring Performance: Evaluate error rates and operating performance of automated systems, ensuring adherence to quality and operational standards.
• Component Replacement: Replace machine components such as belts, springs, suction cups, or sensors as needed, ensuring flawless equipment functionality.
• Defect Management: Record errors in the defect book, escalate issues when necessary, and follow up to ensure proper resolution.
• Collaboration with Teams: Cooperate with maintenance and logistics teams to optimize system performance and adapt equipment to workflow needs.
• Support for Automation Technologies: Participate in implementing new technologies and optimizing their use in day-to-day operations, including conveyor and labeling systems.
• Training and Development: Train team members to ensure they can provide support during absences and familiarize staff with safe usage of automated systems.
