What we need from you:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in financial management roles, preferably in a retail or consumer goods environment.
- Knowledge of Romanian, English and Russian languages.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Experience in audit with Big4.
- Proactive, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.

Prepare and analyze key financial metrics, variance analysis, and management reports to guide decision-making.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance to senior management and stakeholders.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and re-forecasting as needed.
- Analyze variances between actual results and budgets, and propose corrective actions.
- Support department heads in managing their budgets and understanding financial performance.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax filings, financial audits, and corporate governance standards.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the company meets liquidity requirements and optimizes cash utilization.
- Manage working capital, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory turnover to maximize cash flow efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze retail-specific KPIs, including gross margins, product profitability, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with merchandising, procurement, and sales teams to ensure financial alignment with retail operations.
- Track promotional costs, markdowns, and sales performance to ensure profitability goals are met.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to ensure the business operates within its financial targets.
- Support pricing decisions and evaluate the financial impact of promotional activities.
