Project Management Manager

Based in ︁︀​︂︃︃​︉︉​︁︂︈any European location close to an international airport, preferably close to an Emerson office or site, The Project Manager will be responsible for over-viewing and leading all Measurement Solution Systems Projects being driven across Europe, ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within approved budget and to customer’s happiness, as well as providing guidance and leadership to the Project Management team to implement projects by Emerson PMO process and local requirements!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Select, train, lead, and mentor the project Management team to develop proficiency with the intent to efficiently complete projects and review the Resourcing plan monthly, and ensure accurate allocation (and utilization -above 80%) of project management resources (admin, procurement, and PM);
* Responsible for ensuring that the business is fully aligned with all policies, procedures, and practices for safety and compliance;
* Facilitate and report monthly project analysis for all MSS Europe and Intercompany Projects and present project performance (both locally and globally);
* Engage with customers throughout project execution to ensure customer happiness as well as increase revenue opportunity from upselling and variation orders and be the primary point of contact to address project-related issues and drive resolutions;
* Ensure collaboration between local and global functions including MSS Center of Excellence with respect to both project lead-time and cost of completion;
* Actively participate in the local/global Leadership Team to support initiatives and profitable growth for the business and provide feedback;
* Engage with Operation Manager and Director of Measurement Solution Systems & Lifecycle Services to define and achieve World Area goals and to align to global process;
* Ensure projects are implemented according to the Emerson PMO process;
* Manage projects for around 25% of the time;
* Responsible and accountable for the financial performance of MSS European projects including budgets, GP, ETCs, and EACs against As-Sold profit targets and will provide the monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast for Sales at European and Hubs levels;
* Perform PEP reviews for all team members reporting to you.

For This Role, You Will Need:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant Engineering field (preferably chemical, electrical, mathematics, or physics);
* Minimum of 5 years experience in Project Management and Engineering; excellent sales and operations orientation, preferably in a Control/Instrumentation/Engineering environment;
* Minimum of 5 years experience in leading teams in an inter-national / inter-cultural environment;
* Have a proven record of developing strong business system strategies and the ability to lead multiple initiatives, sites, and budgets;
* Strong presentation and written communication skills;
* Proficient English language skills; verbal, reading, and writing;

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Project Management qualification preferred (PMP or equivalent).
